My name is Anthony D'Angelo. I am a senior Chemical Engineering student at USF. This summer i participated in the REU-TIER program (Tampa Interdisciplinary Environemetnal Research) and worked in the Clean Energy Research Center. I was given the opportunity to work on a complex metal hydride project in the Hydrogen Research Laboratory. I worked on improving the hydrogen adsorption properties of a complex by adding catalysts and mechanical milling. This summer has taught me the innovation behind performing research and I would recommend the REU program to any student who desires to be challenged everyday at work.
